body organs begin shutting down at around 92 degrees F and stopping production of vital fluids at around 85 to 90 degrees. Less than 80 degrees you are mostly dead unless revived
For heat or fever, the brain is usually damaged at 106 degrees F if prolonged for more than a few hours. A temp of 110 or more is usually brain damaged

A human can die with a normal temp of 98.6.What is more important is what conditon or disease does the person have?
For example a heart attack or a stroke.
Children can run temperatures 104-105 .It's important to let the doctor know. The temp can be safely brought down by fluids, tepid baths and medications such as Motrin or Tylenol.
Adult's with temps of 104-105 are considered seriously ill and may need hospitalization. An adult with a temp of 106 -107 has burned out their brain cells and cannot survive.

A few years ago, I'd felt a little lethargic since I woke up one morning. While at work all of a sudden I felt like the room temperature had dropped 10deg C. (50F). I could feel myself trembling (minute shaking) and told my boss I wasn't feeling well. My boss sent me home and as I was leaving the building my shaking was becoming noticeable to other staff. I knew I couldn't walk the 15 minutes home without assistance so got someone to call home. My relative picked me up, by this time my shaking was quite severe as I felt so cold with aching muscles, joints and was feverish. We went straight to the 24 hour medical center where I was wrapped up in a blanket. After an hour of waiting the doctor took my temperature and it was 41.8C (107.2F). At the time all I wanted was medication to take away the aching pain in my joints and muscles.

Any fever is an inflammation and a danger sign. The critical level is 104 Fahrenheit, and 108 is usually fatal. There is no 'hard and fast' cutoff-some people have stronger or weaker systems, but surviving a 108 fever means there may be lingering after effects of the fever.

I had be bite my mosquitoes then got hit in the head with numchucks. my body temp for over 3 days rocked between 105 to 106.4F.They stripped me down to my undergarments and had a cool shower on my head and iced me continually. I was going in and out of consciousness. I felt the blood in my veins burn like I was on fire from my toes and finger tips to my head. It was horrible. I do not heal as fast as I did before in simple wounds and many things are so slow to heal. I have chronic pain now. I lived.

Dude, i had the flu this past weekend and my temp. was 104.5.
When it passes 103 your brain starts to fry and that's when you can go into shock. 105 is when you reallly can die.
