What "around-the-house" products could you use to remove hair dye from the skin?

The best "around the house" solution is....believe it or not....cigarette ashes. I know this sounds really gross, but as a beautician I have used it several times and it really works. Take a damp wash cloth. Dab it in the ashes and rub them into the skin. You may have to work at it a little while, but the dye will come off.

Try some rubbing alcohol...next time, keep a wet paper towel next to you when you dye your hair...then when you're done you can wipe everything off.

apply cleanser or moisturizer ASAP. Let the cream "soak" into the skin for a minute or two, then rub off with cotton wool. It works for me
