how many do you wont ,in some places you can rent hole streets.

I've rented for a few years in various different places around the UK and I always find www.rightmove.co.uk is the best place to start.
This website lists the properties available from many different estate and letting agents and usually provides photos - useful for narrowing your search down.
There aren't any listed in South Hylton, but if you widen your search by 1 mile there are few really nice properties listed.
You could also purchase the Sunderland Echo newspaper and look at rental property listed in there, or alternatively look on www.gumtree.co.uk for flatshare opportunities.
