Lunges & squats definitely add muscle and create larger, more toned thighs & quads. They're not exactly fun, but they work. Good luck!

The quickest way to gain weight is to eat saturated fats i.e. junk food, fish n chips, fried food with the least amount of excercise

Best way to lose weight it is to maintain muscle on your body because even on your down time (sitting, sleeping) the muscle continues to draw protein from the body (because of a high body motabolism)

A 20 minute walk is excellent for the cardio-vascular and raises your body motabolism burning the protein but STOPS on your downtime ... so you gain weight

If you want to bulk up try the shakes from the gyms

Do free weights - bench press - curls - leg press - crunches (divide your body into 3 parts "top, middle, bottom" and train one day a week for each giving the other parts time to heal)
