My knee started affecting me during the fall through soccer. It's not my patella, but below it (lower than my kneecap in that rather soft spot). When it's not flexed, it hurts to push on (especially after working out for awhile). I've been icing and taking ibuprofen to alleviate the soreness, but I can't depend on that stuff. Anyone heard of a chopat (?) or something that will help with what I have?

Tedonitis is Inflamation of the tendon or a particular joint. In yoru case it may be of the leg. It sounds like what you are talking about is the anterior churechit (spelling) ligament. Go see a doctor. You should STOP all exercise in order to heal that area. Good luck. No, I've never heard of chopat.

It sounds as though you may have a torn medial or lateral meniscus. The best thing to do is to go to a ortho surgeon and have him order an MRI. If its not torn, then you may be a candidate for cortizone injections in your knee. Trust me..Theyre worth it!
