Sometimes when I stare at a light surface, I can see tiny little bright dots or strands dancing all over. No, I do not use drugs. I'm curious if these things are on my eyeball or floating in the air?

Our eyes are not made to withstand STARING at bright lights. Hence the reason one cannot look at the son for too long or at all. I'm just guessing here, but I think it is your eyes simply adjusting to the light. The reflection of brightness temporarily disturbs your vision, I would have to recommend that you do not stare at bright lights of any form.
If the bright dots continue, I say you go see an optometrist.
God Bless!

They are called floaters. You can often see them when looking at a plain background, like a blank wall or blue sky. Floaters are actually tiny clumps of gel or cells inside the vitreous, the clear jelly-like fluid that fills the inside of your eye.

Floaters may look like specks, strands, webs or other shapes. Actually, what you are seeing are the shadows of floaters cast on the retina, the light-sensitive part of the eye.

I see the same things. And when I roll my eyeball to the left or right, those things move too. I just had an eye exam and checked out okay, so I guess it's normal.

I have those too, but I have found that the question goes away if I stop looking at the light colored surfaces! Try that and I bet you will forget you were curious.

It's either dust, or the light receptors in your eyes. When i have a really bad coughing fit I can see those little specks too, they almost seem square and change colors...right? lol cause that's what I see when I have a bad coughing fit.

They are called "floaters" by eye doctors and basically what they are are air bubbles in the gel-like substance inside your eyeball.

I actually have one that I swat at every once in awhile because I think it's something flying around my head. lol

there are millions of particles in the air, but also those particles mix with the flud that protects your eyes and keeps them moist so its probably a combination.

i ought to suspect that the medium is being kept too moist. and ought to it is that the "little white insects" are maggots? Are you leaving the lid off your computer virus bin so flies can enter and lay their eggs? And are you including meat scraps and dairy that ought to attraction to flies? shop the lid on your computer virus bin and not in any respect, ever upload meat scraps, bones, dairy products.
