I attempted uninstalling all of McAfee off of my new laptop, and everything was deleted except for SecurityCenter. I get an error message saying "An error occured while uninstalling McAfee SecurityCenter." Any suggestions?

try deleting it from programs

Firstly I would try to reinstall / repair using the install disk, then try uninstall again.
If this doesn't work then check the McAfee help for recognized issues.
Another option may be an external uninstall utility such as CCleaner.

Click on start and open control panel. Next click on add or remove programs. Find Mcafee in the list and click on remove. That should work.

Did you first remove the components like Virus Scan and Privacy Service and Personal Firewall and restart the computer, that would help. Then did you use Add/Remove?
