What happens when you forget to take your daily dose of Effexor?

Not much really happens if you only miss one dose. If it is close to the time you take your meds do not double dose, just take it as directed and keep taking them as normal. If you continue to miss your daily dose it will really screw your system up. but one day shouldn't bother you.

For me, just one day isn't too bad. But if I miss a few days, I get this really shaky feeling, like my skin is all jumpy! It's wierd! I tried to quite taking it one time, but I finally realized that it really was helping. It's just that nothing in the world can make everything perfect, but the Effexor helped me deal with things that normally would have me going crazy inside.

You may get a little cranky, or even a little tired. Thats ok. It just means that the dosage in your system is off. Simply take your next dose as directed, and you should pick back up in a day or two.

If you remember within hours, take it! Like if you were supposed to take it this morning, I would still take it now.

Effexor is not one of those meds that you want to miss in my opinion.
I would get vertigo really bad, everything in my head felt weird. I felt like crap and then I would think "Oh, I forgot to take my Effexor!" And not long after I would take it, I would feel better.

That is just my experience with it though.

IF you forget a dose just take the next dose as precribed..you wll be fine just try to keep up with your meds.kara
