Females in heat become very affectionate, will roll around on the floor and make either purring sounds or meow loudly. You will also notice the rear end up in the air as the front of her body is down.

Get her spayed after her heat cycle, trust me you will save yourself a lot of grief by not listening to her cry and you'll be saving a life by not having a litter of unwanted kittens to deal with.

They get extremely friendly in a rather rude way. They meow in a different sort of way, they raise their butts into the air, they may try to get outside. (Don't let her out!)

Very young kittens (as young as 6 months) can get pregnant, but not only is this very bad for them, it adds to the overpopulation of cats already in the world. If your cat is behaving as if she's in heat please have her spayed as soon as possible. A lot of kittens are put to sleep because there aren't enough homes for them. If you find homes for your cat's kittens, those are homes the kittens already in shelters can't move into.

Also, cats who are spayed have a lower chance of breast cancer!

I am not so sure about kittens, but when my puppy (chihuahua) was in heat, she was pretty grumpy. She would also leave blood all around the house. It lasted for about a month and only happens every 6 months. We bought her a little diaper with removable pads to keep the carpet clean. They also lick their areas alot to keep the blood down to a minimum. I am pretty sure that the same applys to kittens. I hope this helps! And remeber, theres nothing to worry about unles you have male cat int eh house who isn't fixed.

If your kitten is about 5 -7 months old, she will start displaying her back end, constanly meowing, and be very friendly. She will roll or stick up her bakc end when she is petted. Time to see the vet!

Her rear end will also look a bit messy and swollen. And she will want to be outside alot. She will bite more too when you play with her.

Calling out loud, pacing, affectionate, rolling on ground, sticking butt in the air.

Get your cat fixed now! Then you will no longer have to worry about it. The vet can fix your cat when she is in heat.
