I personally think there are some people that have forgotten about it. Not everyone though has, i know i havent. I thought we 'went across the water' for the same reason you thought so, to get Bin Laden... my thoughts have kind of changed though, i've thought about it...how is it that this powerful country with a large military/army hasnt been able to find just one man. ? Anyways, for what ever reason we are over there...lets hope we get out soon since all that happens is that people get killed each day..I do support all the troops out there giving their lives out there for us and hope to see my friend back..thats really all im hoping for, at least now. ~ May God Bless ~

Bin Laden is castrated. He will never be a problem again. Oh, every once in awhile he will be marched out to do a little name-calling, but overall, he has been dealt with.
Anyone that thinks Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terror is a fool. After 9-11, no sitting president could have allowed Hussein's regime to stand. Same thing goes with Ahmadinejad.

Gee only seven or eight times daily does someone mention that. Except oddly about the war in Iraq, then we get terrorists up the wazoo. But pointing out the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi and we never attacked them is drowned out, and the fact that they were all here legally, with proper paperwork, that's also drowned out by the sound of all sorts of invasion of privacy paperwork that the Patriot Act encourages. All this while our ports are virtually uninspected. But our shoes are on our trip to Disneyworld.
Bush has said that bin Ladin isn't important anymore, so I'm getting back under my blankie and going to sleep, its cold out there and I'm so confused.

Yes alot of people have forgotten and instead of going after bin laden we are in iraq for some reason . Obviously Iraq had nothing to do with the war on terror or bin laden, So I think Bush has changed our focus from bin laden to iraq.

Tre_132mp. Many people, I mean many, yes many people have forgotten 911. It is like doesn’t matter what happens, let them (muslims) do it again. That is what I can see, when people get round the bend about Iraq, Afghanistan, and even in our border with Mexico. Yes people give a sh-t about 911. I hope people remember how many Americans die on 911. As far as I am concerned, Mr. Bush is the best president America ever have. If weren’t for him, America would had been in deep sh-t.

It was the reason we went to afgan.. But people need to remember we are fighting two wars. One against terrorists, the other against militias who seem bent on starting a civil war. In order to succeed in the middle east we must win in Iraq. There is no greater humiliation than retreat.

Yes I often wonder why its not so important to catch him and also I think he is very much alive no matter how many people like to pretend otherwise he will pop up one day when it is least expected probably around election time.

We are still hunting for Bin. He's probably dead but the hunt will go on, at the same time we are making it safer for the people of Afghanistan.

Nope, still have the hunt ongoing. Sadly he is in a place we cannot get to because of politics.
