My guy friend or i REALLY like is kinda being werid these last couple of days so i desided to go on a date . before i left my friend came over to see whats up and to say hi to my dad , When i walked out he just kept staring at me cause i was lookin good that nite :) Anyways he said where u goin ? I said out with a friend , he got an attitude like oh ok . Well i told him afterwards that i would meet up with him and my dad at the hardrock cafe to party for superbowl weekend. I was gone maybe an hour . I ended up metting them and he seem to be really excited to see me and asked if i had fun i said not really he is not my type he just smiled and said he was sorry if he was being rude i accepted and then he was being really sweet and very talkative . WHAT is his deal ?

I think your intuition is right. Sometimes it is hard for a guy to break out of the "friend zone" and get a girl to see him as potential relationship material. But, this guy seems to be sending all the right signals. His feigned jealousy and obvious attention to you are strong indicators.
The question is: "Do you feel the same way about him?" If so, go for it. Some of the best relationships start out as friendships.
