Take the GP it probably has the 3400 engine since you didn't say if it was a GTP but anyhow if it has a 3800 engine that is a real plus I am a retired Used Car Dealer and trust me you will be sick of the stratus I don't know what part of the Country you are from but where I am from you could buy the 01 or the 99 stratus for far less than the GP remember to buy the car not the miles

The Grand Prix will probably be more reliable than the Stratus. Everyone I talk to who has or had a Stratus had nothing but trouble with them.

Buy a foreign car. If that's all you have to choose with go for the 99 Stratus, lower mileage.

Honestly you are looking for many maintenance problems with all three of those vehicles. But, if you have no choice but those cars, then make sure they have had the timing belts/chains serviced or replaced recently. Ask to see a maintenance log for each vehicle, that lets you know if they have had serious problems in the past, or if the only maintenance ever done was just oil changes, then I would look for something else. They all should have at least had their timing belts replaced, and had basic tune-ups done, such as replace the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, brakes, and coolant changed.

99 Grand Prix. If I'm not mistaken that has the GM 3800 engine that is reliable as long you change the oil regularly and maintain it.

Grand Prix as long as it's got the 3.8. The 3.4's are notorious for intake gasket problems.
