My cats voice has changed suddenly, one day it was normal, next day it was very high pitch sounding compared to what it normally was. It has been like this for 4 days now. My cat doesn't appear to be in any kind of pain and is acting normal and meows as much as normal. I have no idea what happened to cause this, or if it is going to go away, or if I should take her to a vet, I am just interested in some input on what people think.

Tke it to the vet it may be a problem but she wont wanna show her pain to you because she feels that you are worried and will take her to the vet that is what happened to my cat but if the vet says its ok then just to make sure this is what you should do. First put olive oil on a cloth and put it on her neck keep doing that for about a week and that will do the trick.

ummm... I would take the cat to the vet just to make sure. Cats are very stoic creatures and do not readily show that something may be wrong becuase they do not want to appear vulnerable to predators. I am thinking that the voice change could be due to a cold, a throat infection or gland swelling). Have it checked.
