depends if I wanted the to think I had naturally curly hair.

I get caught all the time.... I go to the grocery store and get gas wearing them. No biggie.
In my area you see a bunch of women out with curlers in thier hair, so it's never seemed odd to me.

It could be worse. You could be naked.
When I was in elementary school a mom would pick up her kid in curlers. I'm guessing the kid didn't care too much because I saw her and the pink curlers for years.
