Your friends wont be dating him, you will. I say go for it. You will learn a lesson either way it goes.

He sounds like a bit of a rotten apple. Any guy who drinks and smokes and does whatever "the whole nine yards" is probably will be a bit of a gamble relationship-wise. However, while your friends' opinions definately count (they care about you, after all), you need to consider if your own opinions are more important. Maybe you should call him up and see if he wants to go on a date-- *one* date. While you're on this date, don't mention how you've been feeling lately. Just hang out and get to know him again. Chances are that the way you've been thinking of him isn't totally accurate, and one date will tell you whether he's worth your time or not.

Many girls are attracted to "bad boys." I dont know what is, maybe the whole "**** the world & authority" thing, the rebelious attitude or maybe you just want an adventourous relationship. Sometimes, some girls need change and this could definately be your oppertunity. Usually, if your friends dont approve of the guy thats a sign that you shouldn't date him, but that could also be jelousy talking. If you can't stop thinking about him, the least you can do is give him a ring, and see how things work out!

Well my suggestion to you woul be to leave him alone if you are having any romantic feelings, but calling him to see how he is doing and make sure hes alright won't hurt. You yourself said that he drinks smokes and the whole nine yards dosen't sound promising or sound like he could offer you or a relationship anything positive so why give yourself a headache.

If you like him a lot then you should try to get him to change. By the sound of things, he will eventually get into trouble and if you could help him, you could save his life. Then again, don't get into trouble if he isn't the kind guy to be hanging around with. Don't give into peer pressure. Do what you want, not what your friends want....they will understand. Be safe!

you seem to be feeling sorry for him. I suggest that you do call him and talk to him regardless of what your friends think of you. Maybe you're the person he needs to be in contact with, maybe you are the one who can help him change his ways. Of course, your parents may not like it, and do not catch onto his bad habits, it's bad for you, but, you should talk to him. He may even be willing to change. If he isn't, just let him be and talk to him anyway. Nobody could have too many friends =)
me hopes me helped =D

Forget about him as a leapord never changes his spots, Listen to your friends advice and don't get involved as you will only get hurt and then blame yourself for it.

Take it from someone who has learnt from past experiences

talk to him in person and then call him. screw your friends. if they dont support you in most the things you do and judge you by who you like, they're probably not your friends.
