Tylenol is not anti inflammatory, it only stops the pain receptor. You need like ibubrofen or aspirin and ice what ever is swelling. Keep the part that is swelling above heart level to stop the blood from rapidly going to the region.

My sympathies with your dilemma. I am not quite sure if I understand correctly, but it sounds as though you have a tooth abscess. Now ultimately that needs sorting by a dentist, the first treatment for that is antibiotics. You need to calm down the infection before any other work can be done. It is not urgent that you see a dentist, but a doctor can prescribe these antibiotics, it might help with the swelling going down, with the puss being resolved, but if not, that tooth has to come out. Phone your doctor, explain about your agoraphobia, see if he can come and see you at home, otherwise try to schedule your appointment last one of the day, that way you don't have to deal with a busy waiting room full of people. Ask the receptionist if she could inform you if the doc runs late, so that you can avoid most of the people waiting. You might want to speak to him about your agoraphobia you know, there is treatment for it and above all
hope for sufferers, ask him about CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) works miracles in phobic patients, maybe he can send you to a councilor in your region that can help you with that
Best of luck. If you would like to ask me more, let me know then I will leave some contact details.

What do you have? Where is the pain and the swelling? I don't understand. You will need to call an out of town hospital, sounds like.
