DON"T get it layered, it will just make it look like a big poof, and curling doesn't work on thick hair, i've tried lol. The Paul Mitchell super skinny serum works really well, and so does the herbal essences hello hydration, it makes my hair much better. If this still doesn't help, you can get it relaxed, which makes your hair not too poofy, and a little straighter, but not stick straight like a japanese perm. Good luck!

Go to your stylist and get it thined a LITTLE bit then simply get it permentally straghtend if you want, If that all works out cut of your hair 1-2 in. So then you can get all the damaged ends off...
This is a very big step but it is all worth it!

Dont wash your hair everyday. Let some natural oil accumaulate. Overwashing drys your hair and gives you that poofy look.

Try puttin mousse and but either sponge rollers at night or in the morning put hot rollers in for like 5 minutes

I used to have the same problem but i stoped taking night showers! u should try washing your hair in the sink.. thats what i do! then straighten it with one of those wooden circular looking brushes. It worked for me so i garentee it will work for u!

Try sunsilk shampoo and conditioner and buy a straightining iron. It's a pain in the rear but it makes a hugh difference.

you pink hair lotion it lays yoour hair done and dont blowdry it everyday go over your hair at night with a straightner on the days you blowdry it
