I want to do my own taxes this year. What tax form do i need to download?

I just am a regular girl. I live with my parents, i have 2 jobs, and pay a student loan. Is there just a "regular" tax form? Which one do i need?

Ask for a Form 1040,and form Schedule A&B. After that you will need to read the explanation on what forms to file, given your personal circumstances. You see, if you can be claimed on another person's tax, that requires one set of answers to the quewstions shown in the books for determining what forms to use. You are to be commended for wanting to file your own return. It is not difficult. Most people are just scared to try. If you are single, with only one studend loan to pay off, with no dependants, lyou could even take a standard deduction that would be really simple. Just don't forget to take the telphone credit this year, if you had your own phone and paid for the years specified. Good luck, it simple, believe me. The IRS has a number to call and ask for help.

Are your itemized deductions higher than the standard deduction.
If you don't itemize then you can use the 1040ez and take the standard deduction .
Since interest on your student loan is deductable include that in a list of expenses you have related to your two jobs..uniforms, shoes,tools...these are non-reimbursed cost....milage or gas if you use your car...if you can itemize...then 1040 or 1040A.
1040 or 1040a...tax form, schedule A and B and I believe it's sch. D for interest. Plus get the instruction book. I'm sitting here staring at mine right now. It's not hard to do, just time consuming.good luck

Actually, form 1040 is the 'regular' form.

All the others (1040A, 1040EZ, etc.) are just shortened versions of it.
