On Mapquest, trying to pay a bill, etc,--a " town, MF" comes up as MFEMFEMFEM,MF. I supposedly have no viruses,spyware, etc. I can't figure it out. Even on here-I'm trying to type the abbreviation for New Jersey

sounds like you have the spyware program WildTangent.

no clue, a virus shouldn't do that for an abbreviation.
Perhaps your keyboard, have you updated your keyboard drivers lately?
