there is this one guy in my 2nd period class and his name is nick and i like him and he knows that i like him,my friend jordan talked to him on friday,then during 2nd period on monday (we all have 2nd peroid) my friend jordan came back to me and told me that nick said he will only go out with me if i ask him out 1st.....should i ask him out?

yes what have you got to lose, he can only say no and show you up.
but you will learn from this
take the bull by the horns and go for it
you only live once and there to many chances that people let pass them bye
you know what sort of person he is, if he is the sort of person that will show you up then maybe dont ask but then you will never know
so basically just ask him and if he says no what ever you do dont go all shy just casually say your loss and walk away. giving him a backwards glance that will get him thinking
and maybe just maybe he might end up asking you out

First of all, what kind of a friend is Jordan? Are you being set-up?Please don't tell me that you are "thinking" of asking him out! Don't fall for that "trap". Obviously this Nick is playing you and getting your so called friend Jordan to carry on the "play". Any girl, at your age, that would stoop so low as to fall for that, deserves to be turned down. So watch out girlfriend, you just may be made a fool of. If this Nick likes what he sees, he will do the asking, otherwise take a Big Swing past this looser!

Sounds like your crush is shy. Lots of guys are very shy of girls, and sometimes they need a little push to get a relationship going. If Nick told Jordan to tell you that you should ask him first, then yes, make the first move. And this time, talk to him yourself. Guys love confidence in a girl, and talking to him yourself will show him that you're truly a girl worth dating :)

Take a chance baby and ask him. That is what dating is about. A lot of guys think it is hot to be asked out by a girl. I say go for it. Especially since you have an inside track. Hey, maybe your friend is 'kidding you' about having talked to him, but maybe nott ... what is the 'worst' that can happen if you ask Nick out? He may say not ... but then he may be 'really into you' and just be 'too shiy' to speak up first, so I'd ask him out, if I were you.

I would.....there's only one real way to know if he likes you....ask him!! I mean, you dont have to walk over and say, do you like me? but give it a chance, ask him out, you two may hit it off....dont go thru friends...information always gets lost or left out that way!
