A man was found dead (by the police) in a small room with a gun and a tape player in the room as well. When the police pushed play on the tape player, the guy's voice began playing (the guy that is dead in the room)and he began talking about how he had such a bad life that he was going to just commit suicide. At the end of the tape, there was a gunshot. How did the police immidiately know that this was a murder?

because the tape would still be recording if he kiled himself. there would have to be someone else to turn it off!!! pick me!!!

The guy who was going to kill him self was shot by another man. Police easly know for one of two reasons.
One: the gun wound is either in a place that only someone else could hit
or
Two: When the police hit play, it started off as the guy talking then hear a gut shot. How else would the tape begin playing with the guys voice unless someone else was there to rewind the tape

I love riddles but they drive me nuts;
The dead guy would have turned off the tape recorder and then shot himself, or it would have kept going to record every sound since then. But since we hear the gunshot, someone else was recording.

Because if he shot himself, then the recorder would keep recording. The murderer pressed stop.
Either that or the tape player wasn't a recorder.

because if the tape ended someone would have had to push stop if he was dead already the tape would have kept going someone shot him.

the gun shot happens during the recording on 1hr long tape......it only took the cops 30 min to get there, other voices in the background........or they could have dusted for finger prints......idk

becuase someone would have had to press the stop button and rewind the tape.....he couldn't have done that after he shot himself.
