Hello,
The first thing you do when you forget to include other income or another W-2 is to file an amended return with the correct amounts. The amended return instructions will guide you on what documentation you need to provide with the return. You can usually find these forms at a library or post office. The sooner you do this, the less you pay in penalty and interest if any is due. Either way, you will have to pay full tax (employer/employee both for Social Security and Medicare) on any 1099 earnings as there were none taken out by the pay-or. Remember, you can call the IRS to ask questions about how to fill the amended return out if the instructions are not clear. Good Luck.
