bore me.

id have to go to politics for debate. i hate politics. here i can debate existance of things, politics all your doing is debating which politician is lying worse.

i enjoy debating. ^^

by debating i mean having intelligent answers to my questions. not answers such as, "your taking it out of context" and others that beat around the bush, and fail to provide any form of rebuttle.
which sadly i find more often here then not.

Bore me dead. If everyone shared my exact beliefs, then the world would be a kingdom of boredom.

I disagree that if the world shared the belief/religion/faith/whatever of Christianity, the world WOULD NOT be better off. No one would have anything to discuss about except for God and Christianity, which would be WAY more boring than watching the paint dry off a wall. So hey, to each his own.

I like that question, it is a very very wise one.
No, I wouldn't want everyone to share my 'exact' beliefs, though close. I am human, some of them are not exactly right, and yes it would be boring if everyone believed exactly the same, but if everyone understood the truth of the bible [as I believe] then the world *would* be better off.

Variation is one of the main ingredients necessary to life socially and biologically. If it made anyone happy that everyone shared the same beliefs, it wouldn't make them happy for long. We need soldiers, liars, doctors, scientists, atheists, and even organized religions, etc. in order to keep the world in balance.

I would hate it if everyone shared my exact beliefs... it would be incredibly dull - I'd flip out entirely... I love discussion and debate... they make life exciting - without those differences I'd simply freak out...

How could you even have a conversation if everyone shared my exact beliefs...

Nobody to yell at, nobody to mock, nobody to blame.

While I wouldn't mind being on the winning side in most arguments, I do value the arguments. As Jefferson said, "the faculties of the mind are excited by collision."

Besides, if everyone (including young, attractive women) liked young, attractive women I'd have even less chance than I have now.

I think free will makes it very interesting. But it is a nice feeling to be among people who agree on things you believe in. That is why it is so wonderful tome to go to charge my batteries at my church when I worship my Lord.

That gives me hope and power and wisdom to deal with the world outside of that community.

Variety is the spice of life.
It would be terribly boring if we all believed the same thing.
