I like him so much. But he has a lot of problems and I don't know if it would be worth it to get into a relationship with him because his problems will probably end up to be my problems too. He's got cuts on his wrists and does about every kind of drug you could think of. Do you think it's worth a try? (Serious answers only please).

It would be worth it only if you know you can get him off the drugs and chances are that the cuts are due to the drugs. Given today's thrills of drug use, I don't see that happening too easily. You're going to be going through a lot.
It's my opinion that this isn't a good idea but then you know what they say about opinions. They are just like a$$holes, everyone has one and they usually stink.

I dont think you should stop talking to him... He probably really, really needs you. Thats probably part of the reason he cuts- he feels like no one cares about him. I think if you really like this guy, you shouldnt push into a relationship- show him how much you care about him and his welfare. Little things like buying his favorite snack and inviting him over to watch his favorite movie. Try to make him feel good about himself, because he is most likely missing self-esteem too.

You should still talk to him and try to help him with his problems. If he stops the drugs and cutting, go out with him. If not, dont ruin ur life to.

well first off i say no ...one because he has problems and turns them into yours...2 because he does drugs and cuts his wrists...i mean what if u get really serious with him and he gets mad and actually kills himself? you wouldnt want that to hapen...i say forget him and try someone else..good luck

I would not get involved. He has way too many issues with himself right now to care about someone else. No matter how much you want to help him, he's not going to change until he wants to. STAY AWAY!

he does not care for himself and until he wants to change it will be a very stressful relationship --- im sorry i dont think it would be a good idea --- my daughter had a boyfriend that was on medication and it was not a good relationship --- best wishes to you

do you really think a doper and cutter could have a "serious" relationship with anyone???
have care and concern...pray for him lots...but a relationship?...I think not if you are a sane individual.
