Rosetta stone is what we use in the Army. I learned Arabic from it before I went to Iraq for the second time. For civilians, it is quite expensive, but I do not know of any free language sites with audio and video. For a lot less cash though, there is a program that I just bought for 40 bucks, called instant immersion: 33 languages. From looking at it, it looks pretty decent. It is disc based, and each disc has a language.

If you are serious about learning Italian though, Rosetta stone is about the best language program out there.

If you have an iPad or iPhone you can upload free sites. I installed free German lessons and it's really helped! I typed in the app search German lessons and that's how I found it. Good luck!
