I have past my shoulders pretty much totally straight dark dark brown hair. I've been told it's dry, which is why it's pretty difficult to brush when it's wet unless I use a LOT of conditoner. I want to tame the 'frizz', and get rid of the FLYAWAYS on the top (mostly in the center right above my forehead). I just want nice, smooth, sleek, hair with no frizz/flyaways. Can anyone name a brand? (I'm currently using Dove). Most helpful answer gets 10 points ASAP. Thanks

You should use spray on conditioner it works great! Herbal Esscenses should have one(put on when hair is damp or after you get out of the shower as detangular Or both if you want). For shampo wash 2 times when your in the shower with Sunsilk Staighten up shampo then follow with the matching condtioner..
It works great it makes your hair soft and smooth and shiny!!!! Well I hope I helped, if you have any questions just ask in email.

Joico K-Pak shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner is the best for making hair silky. If you can only afford to splurge on 1 salon product get the conditioner.

Really rinse your hair well after conditioning.

Once a week, use a clarifying shampoo to remove product build up which will make your hair feel dry and unmanageable. Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is the best one I've found.

Garnier Fructis, I have similar hair and I use it. Get sleek and Shine version, right on the bottle it says for dry, unmangable, or frizzy hair. Also this line of products has other stuff you can use like Frizz syrum ect. It is a green bottle with some orange shiny stuff on it. Good luck!

I like L'oreal sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Also, on a weekly basis I use the Moroccan Oil Hydrating Masque (recommend it for you because you straighten your hair often). The Moroccan Oil (not the moroccan oil hydrating masque) is a great product to use as a detangler, and it helps smooth frizzy hair.

i would start with a cut... nothing drastic, but just enough to get off the dead ends. when was the last time you had that done? after, your hair will be healthy and if it was just enough to get the dead ends, you can use alot less product and you will be able to run your fingers through it. one tip... NEVER BRUSH YOUR HAIR WHEN ITS WET! IT PULLS AND BREAKS THE HAIR... ALWAYS USE A WIDE TOOTHED COMB AND STARTING FRON THE ENDS ON CONDITIONED TREATED HAIR.COMB YOUR WAY TO THE TOP ... FROM THE ENDS UP.
all you need is the dead ends off, you will be amazed... like a brand new head of hair. and to keep it that way every 4-6 weeks just the ends... good lock!!!

Pantine Pro V I love the stuff! My hair used to be dry to before I used it. Also I know this sounds gross but try not washing your hair everyday. The natural oils from you head will help keep it healthy.
