A really good friend of mine just went for her regular check up and every time she goes she gets a test for STD's she has always been clean and never had anything until this last one, she caught something from her ex-boyfriend who had cheated on her with two different strippers ( horrible situation) and she knows he gave it to her because she was clean before she got with him and now she has something. Do you think she should inform her ex-boyfriends now girlfriend that she might have it too or would you let it go, she asked me for advice but I am not sure as to what I should tell her any of you have advice for her

She contracted chlamydia from this guy, she is now on the antibiotics to get rid of this, but I know if the guy doesn't get treated and if his new girlfriend doesn't get treated it can just keep getting passed around seeing as he can't keep his thing in his pants.

Um... this is my first time to do this so go easy on me...
Personally, I think you should b/c... can't you do something for STD's? They ALL should have a right to know and they prolly need to get tested... It may not be too late to get help so you'd be doing the right thing (in my perspective)
As a friend, I'd be there to hear her out and just give her moral support...I hope I've helped you :]

Yeah - it would be a good idea. The girl has a right to know she may possibly have something. She needs to see a doc ASAP to see if everything is alright. And knowingly spreading it could put the ex-bf in some serious trouble.

I would tell the other girl. You get genital herpes after coming in contact with it from two different people. It's called 2 strains. Your body can usually handle the first strain and you never know you have it or you may not even get it... But 2 strains and your body accepts it and you're stuck with it. I am not ashamed. I have GH and though I am not happy with how I got it, it does float around fast. I HAVE ALWAYS TOLD MY BF'S and I wish that guy had told me, but he hadn't. SHE NEEDS TO TELL THAT GIRL. Then she needs to file a police report saying he's going around knowingly giving girls GH.

Unless she is a close friend of the new girlfriend, NO. It sounds too much like a revenge issue. If he is dating 'cheesy' girls, they probably have a higher risk of having something anyhow. Concentrate on getting your friend well, that's all that matters, learn from the experience, and move on.

Once she had the diagnosis didnt the clinic or doctors office ask her for a list of her sexual partners? I think there is a responsibility that the MAN at least be notified....and of course he is SUPPOSED to notify everyone he is sleeping with....now of course..he probably wont do that....so YES, tell the new girlfriend!!!!!

I think she needs to call or comfront her ex-boyfriend and she needs to tell him that she contracted an STD from him and he needs to be the one to tell his current girlfriend that she needs to get tested and If he refuses than she then should tell his girlfriend.

If you tested negative after your ex you definitely got this from your current boyfriend. He may just not have been aware he carried it.

I thought that telling all the partners about it was a must; concealing it is a criminal offense...
Anyway, here is a nice site which allows to send a card and announce the "joyful" news. You can try it. It is anonymous and free.

If it is on paper that it is definite...I would appreciate someone telling me...but more fool the new girlfriend for not finding out his sexual history bafore having unprotected sex with him or even insisting that he go for testing.

First you said POSSIBLY, then you prove by deduction that the guy was guilty.
If you're SURE he's guilty, just have a plane drop 5,000 flyers all over town and get it over with.
