the quaran also says that people should be forcibly converted as that is what "peace" means under islam.

as such the quaran has no merit.

firstly you should find out what the Jews mean by Messiah (Moshiach) - it's not what the xtians think (or the mohommedans either).
Secondly, the power of life and death in Jerusalem belonged to the Romans and only the Romans so only they could pass sentence and execute, so that rules out the Jews again.
Third, who says that Jesus was the messiah? He failed to fulfil nearly all the prophecies. He was more probably just a heretic and blasphemer preaching a corrupted form of Judaism.

As for the koran, it was authored by mohommed as an aid to gathering an army of warriors in his bid for domination of the arabic world. Truth is an irrelevance, promises to encourage his warriors was the main aim - loads of virgins, plenty of gratuitous killing, rape etc. Just look how well it worked. The nearest competitor must be mein kampf which inflamed a whole nation and helped cause 5 years of murder and terror. The sooner all these books of superstition are burned and forgotten, the better for mankind.

on a different topic, transliteration does have it's problems. the comment that mohommeds best-seller begins with a Q might work in arabic, but in English, the letter Q MUST be followed by the letter U, giving us "quoran" or "quran". In welsh, it's côran and in other languages, the local spelling is used. It makes no real difference except to preserve national language grammar - an essential in keeping the language from becoming corrupted.

Wow, what an amazing observation. Gee, are you sure you're not a scholar?

Just because Jews didn't consider Jesus to be the messiah, doesn't mean Muslims don't either. So is it possible that out of respect to Jesus, the Qur'an is saying the Jews claim to have killed the messiah rather than just saying, claim to have killed Jesus son of Mary?

Either way, if you think your one verse paraphrased from the English meaning of the arabic version is concrete proof, then you truly have a logic I can't comprehend.

Jesus is the Messiah (Christ ) to us Muslims so God is talking to us and telling us that the Jews think they killed Jesus and the Christians think so too---Only Muslims believe that he did not die or killed and he is alive after he rose and that he will be back at the end of times

Jesus came to this world with the soul purpose of dying on the cross to redeem all mankind from sin and hell. The ones who actually put Him on the cross really doesn't matter as it is the sin of all mankind that ultimately put Him there to die for us all.

God is the one who sacrificed Jesus. He did this so that we can live eternally with Him.
