Why does my cat doesn't drink from her water bowl? She only drinks the water from my shower.

It's because you cat likes water fresh from the tap. Might want to try a cat fountain. Petsmart and Petco are the 2 stores I shop at online.

Cats really prefer running water or at least fresh water. When I go brush my teeth I turn on the tub slightly so the cat can have a drink. She loves it! You can train the cat to follow you into the bathroom whenever you go to get some fresh water, sounds weird but it works!

Yes to the answers about moving/fresh water. Mine will not drink out of their bowl by the dry food unless they absolutely have to and I haven't seen them do it yet.
I keep a cup on the counter in the bathroom. The first cat preferred that and when we adopted the 2nd one, she saw him drink from that so now she does too. We just refresh the water every time we brush our teeth. Even if we have to keep them out of the bathroom or in our bedroom, when guests come, they still prefer that cup! The cats that is. :-)
I am thinking of getting one of those pricey electronic ones that someone mentioned here.

Could be tha she is very picky like my cat.. need fresh water. We change her bowl 2 or 3 times a day

Just provide clean water every morning. My cat will drink from toilet if opened. I keep it closed.
He also drinks outside from the birdbath (this is really hillarious), pond, etc. Go figure.

It just where she prefers to drink. Its fresh. Clean. My drink out of glasses and the dripping tub. Brats.

Same as my cat, feta forest only drinks from the toilet, and never from his bowl. "Bad Kitty"

I keep a small tote under the fauct so when it drips theres fresh water.The soap,shampoo and cleaners build up is very bad for them.So that's what I use they love it.
