Yes, I prefer them cold. It can be hard on sensitive teeth. If they sit too long the fruit will taste like it does after browning but the fruit will still be white.

Yes, it's fine. Apples are kept in cold storage all of the time. How else do you think you get apples during the winter?

i cannot eat cold apples it hurts so bad on my teeth!

No, it's not harmful, it may keep them fresh a little longer, but mainly it's a temperture preverence. I prefer them cold, my kids like them room temp.
