hi I have 2 scars, one above my belly button and one below if from rejected navel piercing, does anyone know of any way that I can make them less noticeable?
I would prefer a product that I can buy or any home methods, I wouldn’t like to resort to surgery or anything...help please.
the oldest scar is kind of white with faint purple colour and the most recent one is a dark shade of purple.

If they're raised (keloid-type), try those scar treatment pads (like Curad)--they're clear silicone pads that are self-sticking.

I tried them and they work really well. They're a little pricey for an OTC treatment, especially since they can take a few weeks to work, but I used them on a raised scar and they helped it a lot.

For non-keloid scars, try Mederma or generic products (like, with dimethicone, or Scargo, or rub-in treatments.) They don't work as well, but they're much harder to deal with. If you went for a procedure at a doc's office, they can inject stuff to plump them up, but you can't do a lot for them at home. I mean, massage them and do what you can, but you'll get more dramatic results if they're raised and you use those silicone scar pads.

Check for these products in the bandage/first aid section of a grocery store or drugstore.

My mum was in a motorcycle crash when she was younger and she was injured. Told she would have scars but after applying Palmer's Cocoa Butter to the 'scars' over a period of time (not sure how long) the 'scars' went away and now they're not there.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter now have a special formula for stretch marks which I suppose shows you that the formula is known to have healing properties. (^_^)

Palmer's Cocoa Butter

Smells delicious too! You may want to eat yourself after applying it. (^_-)

Edit: The guy above recommend Vitamin E oil. Cocoa Butter contains Vitamin E so that may be why it's so great!
