Are there any products in the market for dying your dogs hair? I want to color my doggies hair pink. I heard coolaid will work or food coloring. If it does, how do I do it?

Mix unsweetened Kool Aid powder in a little warm water and sponge it on..Leave it for a few minutes, then rinse well, so it doesn't transfer to fabrics.

Don't listen to the people saying "its considered cruel" or "it'll hurt them", they apparently know nothing of the subject. There are many competitive groomers that dye thier dogs all the time for show and different contests. You should talk to a groomer about what safe dyes to use, do not attempt before you ask (unless you use food coloring or something but that wont stay in the fur well) I've heard that kool aid comes off on carpet and furniture. Definently speak to a groomer though about safe dye to use and how to go about it.

Yes there are dyes you can buy. Make sure to find semi-permanent AMMONIA-FREE hair dyes. Petsilk made some herbal dyes that you shampoo in- they last for a couple of weeks. Also, you can try Manic Panic- you can find it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Jerome Russell makes Punky colors- we used these for our Luau syenciling and creative grooms. This is what we, as well as other groomers have used a on our creative grooming for shows and contests.

They sell this at upscale grooming locations. For an online list, visit pamperedpuppy.com and look under the shopping section.

bad idea, it can mess with their skin a lot and pretty much every kind of dye they shouldnt be ingesting. If you want pink, dye your own hair pink. Plus in some areas it is construed as animal abuse.

Coloring your dog's hair is not a good idea. Almost anything that you could use should not be ingested by a dog.
