Will it be in better shape after highlighting or will this do no good? Thanks,

Taking Vitamins for hair is very good. There is nothing wrong with it although i prefer consuming the food itself because it is more natural. Keeping a balanced daily food intake is good. As for the highlights it should be no problem. If you are worried the best thing to do is have a few done up the top to see how it will turn out. If you are happy with it you could have more put in. If not it will be less to remove. Just remember, any product used to lighten hair consists of bleach so you might experience some dryness. It all depends on the type of hair you have. It sounds like you are doing a good job with your hair so i doubt you will have any problems. GOOD WORK! :)
Take care!

Hair is dead. It's like a fingernail. You can't take vitimins and expect the hair that has already grown out to become healthy. Before you highlight, get a professional's advice. If your hair isn't healthy enough for highlighting, they should tell you.

Hun, your hair can withstand a lot more than you think. You don't need to do all that stuff to prepare for a little highlighting session. Just keep your hair well conditioned. Although, taking vitamins aren't a bad idea :)

It depends on what shape it is in prior to highlighting. You want your hair to be in good condition before & after. Try a better conditioner and maybe one that you leave in overnight.
