I'm thinking about getting a Min Pin and I need to know a bit more about them. Are they aggresive? Are they good toward strangers and kids? How do they act when strangers come around(do they be aggresive toward them?) THANKS!

They don't like kids and can become aggresive around strangers I had one that became really mean. There a great dog for single people and adults.

Min Pins are the most hyper dog that there is. they are known as King of the Toys. My min pin never stays still, he is in constant movement. They are not real friendly towards people they don't know. Mine isn't real friendly towards other dogs either. He will bark at other dogs and strangers. He acts aggressively towards other dogs but is really just a big baby. They are cute funny little dogs but they get into everything and will try to escape at all times. A friend of mine has a 8 year old min pin who he said has finally calmed down. I have read that they are like 2 year olds forever and I do agree. they are great little dogs but you have to be prepared.

You've asked this question before and have also said you were getting a pit bull and asked the same question and also asked about terriers as well.
If you want to learn about different dog breeds, there are lots of sites to help you with this. Try www.akc.org and Yahoo Pets. Both will lead you to breed profiles that will help you find the right dog for you. If you do some research, I'm sure you can find the breed that's right for you and your circumstances.

Our neighbors is a nervous little guy, cute as a button but tries to act like it is a big as a horse when anyone comes near him. FRom what I have heard small dogs are not teh best for small kids. Little kids tend to move to quickly and not be teh most gentle.

I've talked to people with Min Pins, and although they love their dogs, they said they are like racoons....they will get into EVERYTHING for their entire life, and they had to make special crates because they were major escape artists.....had to keep the door blocked when they opened it!

they are one person dogs and are vert protective. If you have kids be cautious but its all in how you train your kids. I love min pins!
