No, I came home to find that my cats had knocked over the dual beta tank. We found one fish later, but one was most certainly a tasty treat. Neither cat got sick and I stop using those small beta tanks, that can't stand up to a cat. If you want to try again, get a better tank. I used a glass one gallon and that was able to stand up to it. I don't think any of the beta tanks are tough enough to stand up to a hungry cat.

The tank must be too small for a kitten to knock over. Consider getting a bigger tank, 5gallon or bigger. The land must've been very high so he must have injured a part of his body/fin! A part of his fins might have broken off so he cannot swim properly. Take him to a vet and get him examined, other than that he will be fine.

Probably not. A fish is a fish to a cat.

Naw... My cat used to fish in the tank all of the time. Caught her once sitting in the tank, water up to her neck just having a good ole time. Kitty may cough up some bones.

I'm sorry on the loss of your fish! No the cat will not get sick, it is just their way of life. Ferals do it all the time, as they have to survive on their own.

It depends did you put any fish bowl cleaner substance. This substance is ok for fish but it could hurt your cat. I would take him to the VET for a check-up just to be safe.

I highly doubt it. My cats eat birds and wild rodents all the time. The only time they get sick is when they are on my good silk comforter. I wouldn't worry too much.
