While on a day trip to Dungeness, I saw the controversial xenophobic posters for Shepherds Neame's aforementioned ale. I dont understand what it means or what the joke is, and nor does anyone ive spoken to. Am i just thick?

The Spitfire adverts have a WWII theme -- the beer is called The Bottle of Britain.

The advert formed part of the World Cup Football (that's soccer to Americans) series of adverts

6-3-3 Formation at first sounds like a football team formation, but adding up the numbers comes to 12, one too many for a football team and there is no WWII link.

However, there was a war film called 633 Squadron in which the RAF gave Jerry a bloddy nose (see http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057811/ )

So thats the reference - to 633 squadron* trouncing Jerry.

For other adverts in the series see http://www.spitfireale.co.uk/advertising/cartoons.htm

*633 squadron in the movie flew the amazing Mosquito aircraft, not Spits.

Nope, isn't clever by any potential. Wayne Rooney can not play on my own up front as replaced into shown in the time of the international cup Terry is barely a million defender somewhat, and in case you have been to play 3 on the back you may choose for 3 CB, no longer 2 cb and a million LB. I reckon Robinson Neville-Ferdinand-Terry-Cole Lennon - Gerrard-Hargreaves-Cole Rooney - Johnson
