I have "typical" asian hair, which is basically straight. It's long (more than halfway down my back) and is pretty healthy, but I do have a few bad split ends. Frizz can be a problem for me, but only on rainy days (which is pretty often, in Florida). I have some body waves (where it hits my neck/shoulders) and I like them, so i'm not looking into straightening formulas. I don't straighten or chemically change my hair - just wash and go. No dandruff, and it doesn't get too greasy. It's in pretty good condition overall...

I'm aiming for a less than $5 price range (where I can buy it at Wal-mart or Target), but i'm looking to try something new. OH and I don't want something that smells TOO strong... I like fresh/fruity scents.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I would say try either anti-frizz formulas or if you want more body a volumizing formula. I like using garnier, which has a fruity smell, or there is sunsilk or herbal essences, but you aren't really limited to those, there are other cheaper brands that can work just as well a lot of the times. The best bet, is to do a little experiment, try a brand and if you don't like it try another until you find the perfect one that works best for you. Everyone has their own preferences and also different products that their hair reacts better to.

Hope this info helps, good luck.

Use Sun-Silk in the teal bottle it's if you have no hair problems. Never use Pantene my hairstylist told me it's the worst thing to use on hair because it just coats the hair with a wax like substance. She found out about it at beauty school and they actually took a razor blade and scraped it along the hair and white build-up started flaking off!! Gross!! Anyways I use Sun-silk and love it, it smells good too!! Hope this helped!!
