by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

They will advise you on what you can do to file if you don't receive it

Keep hounding the employer to get them out. They can be hit with a $50.00 penalty per W2 for not getting them out on time, plus another $100.00 penalty per W2 for willful disregard of the rules. (The accountant is not responsible for it, the employer is. You may want to remind them of that.)

If you still don't have it by 2/15, you can call the IRS. They won't take missing W2 or 1099 calls until then. They will investigate the matter and very likely you'll get your W2 in a very few days.

Well somebody seems as if they dont care, but it has pass the handing out of those forms time, some body have to check with the person in charge and ask whats going on, let the responsible person know that if it is not recieved in few more days then the matter will be taken further.
