I really enjoyed The Wurmbrand sermon series from www.persecution.com. Also, Francis Frangipane has good books www.arrowbookstore.frangipane.org. Joyce Meyer is fun and easy to read as is Rey Steadman. George Barna & David Jeremiah have some good stuff.

For fictional stories I really enjoy Ted Dekker author of the Circle Trilogy and Thee (just made into a movie as well). As for inspirational you may want to check out John Eldridge, Wild at Heart (for Men), The Sacred Romance, Captivating (for Women). Also, any of the Case For...(Christ, Creator etc.) books by Lee Strobel are also very good.

Well other than the Bible--I do know that C.S Lewis has good books, like "Mere Christianity" which I have not read, but everyone I know says its excellent. Also commentaries are good, on books of the Bible. My husband is reading "Total Truth" by Nancy Pearcey- There are many good books out there, as long as they are biblical.

Read the Left Behind series. There are over 12 books in the series. They are awesome, and really help me understand what people are going to go through in the Tribulation period. They are fiction, but it really puts you there. I couldn't put them down. Read three books a week until I went throught them all.
Anything by Max Lucado and John MacArthur are good.

Beginnings in theology or theology and sanity by Frank Sheed are very good. Otherwise C.S. Lewis has some really good religous books.

"In the Grip of Grace" by Max Lacado is good. So are "Piercing the Darkness" and "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti. And some all time greats are "Not My Will" and "Pilgrims Progress".

I like to read the Bible. I especially like the stories of Sodom and Gomorrah, and Samson and Delilah. Nothing better than mythic sex and mayhem
