In many parishes, there may only be one or two priests and their schedules are generally erratic. I suggest that you get the telephone number of the closest Catholic Church in your neighborhood, tell the person who answers the phone, who you are, where you live and that you want to speak to a priest about converting to Catholicism. She/he may either set up an appointment for you or direct you to classes that some churches often give for potential converts.

I sure wish I could advise you.
I have found the church is locked in my hour of need and no answer at the rectory.
But there should be someone there during the day when the doors are unlocked.
But call and leave your message.
You might also try going to the catholic school,,, your sure to find help there.

Open Phone Book ... find Catholic Church near you ... call parish center, and they'll set an appointment for you with a Priest. Priests are typically available M-F (8AM - 5 PM) and there's an after hour emergency number (sacrement of the sick/ dying).
Welcome ...we're quickly approaching Easter and during the Easter season (Lent - Easter) we celebrate new comers like you. GB

You can start by going to Mass. Also call the rectory of your local Catholic Church to make an appointment with the priest. You can find the phone number in the church bulletin or yellow pages of the phone book under "churches".

I was told I had to go thru RCIA class. I went thru most of it, and both sides agreed that I was not to be a Catholic at that time. (I do not recall ifI went to mass a few minutes later or not); Definitely not since that date to now.

In USA, I heard they even available on week days.
Why not call your local catholic church or try to walk in.

First aquaint yourself with their beliefs. And then cross check them with the bible. I believe you may find some discrepencies. Before you convert, I beg you, Pray about it. Hopefully the true religion will be revealed to you. God wants you to worship him. He will soon destroy false religion and everyone in her so be sure that catholicism is where you want to be.
