Clearly they do not have a choice. My friend "came out of the closet" at the age of 23. He told me he had hid his homosexuality for his entire life in fear of getting fired/ losing friends.

Logically, if they do not have a choice God must have made them gay.

So then why is being gay a sin? Aren't people supposed to love the way "God made them!?"

well according to the bible it isnt a sin per say.. its just wrong...

im not sure how accurate this is but...
i think the reason why being gay isnt allowed according to some religions (mainly christanity and catholics)... is because back, even before the bible was written, in rome.. sexual activities were completely free... you could pretty much do (yes i mean do as in sex, lol) anything- animals, men, women... whatever.... i am sure there was some religious guy who just thought it was wrong.. threw it in that council of the people who voted as to what was going to be included in the bible, and there you go.. it became official.

but you gotta keep in mind.. yes god made him who he is.. and that is great... you cant get confused with god and religion.. those are TWO different things.... god loves your Friend, some religions might not.

... no matter who he is... as long as he is a good person.. he is wonderful in god's eyes.

Leviticus 18:22

Do not lie with a man as one lies
with a woman; that is detestable.

Romans 1:26,27
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations
with women and were inflamed with lust for one another.
Men committed indecent acts with other men,
and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
