Wow, you are in a really tough spot. It is always very, very difficult to leave home, especially if it's for someone that's "stealing" your family's affections. I know my parents had a very difficult time when I started spending more time at my boyfriend's than my own family's.

Exactly how far away did you go? Are you across the country, or half a city away? If you're somewhat closeby (as in, you wouldn't mind spending the gas money), you should go home-- for a few days. As painful as it may be, you need to talk things out with your family. Express to them how you feel in a calm, rational manner (there is nothing worse than an all-out fight with your parents!). If you don't feel comfortable discussing this with them face to face, at least talk to them on the phone. You can arrange a visit then.

Once you've ironed things out with the fam, it'll be easier to go back home every so often. Encourage your boyfriend to come with you; it is obvious that you love both him and your family very much, and it only makes sense that you would want all of them to get along, right? If he knows that you're missing home (and you should be honest about this to him, too), he should love you enough to respect your wishes. Good luck!

If you love each other, can't you go home and stay together? just cos you move back in with your family doesn't mean it's over. Move home, date and try again when the time is right!

Perhaps being homesick has affected your relationship but in the same token the relationship itself has created a divide between yourself and your family.
Therefore it raises the question: Marriage or is it just puppy love?

'YES'- You and your husband can unite with your family.
'NO'- Unless BF is accepted at home, dump him or live with it.

If it's not going that well WHY STAY.
This should be the happiest part of your life.

Two people fighting or lacking attention etc.. makes no sense.
If you are unable to resolve your differences move on and find your Prince Charming.
He's the one who will make you his world.

If its true love on both sides, no abuse then why don't you stay and see what develops there will be ups and downs in every realtionship and if you always run away from them you will never establish nothing... True sh*it...believe me.
