complete, or wholegrain rice and bread, both high in fibre, and lower in fat ...

reduce the pasta if it's made with egg...

drink 3 to 5 litres of water daily

walk at least 30 to 40 minutes a dat

eat something high in energy and fibre like oatmeal (porridge) with some toast and a boiled egg in the mornings to give your metabolism a boost, a good filling but balanced lunch (chicken or lean meat with simple tomato sauce and wholegrain rice), then eat the least in the evenings...

The best advice is make sure you eat a banana, apple, orange (clementine/tangerine/ etc) every day...

and dont forget to drink all the water you can, and exercise at least 30 minutes a day!

Eating everything in moderation will benefit,
Eating all varieties, in pulses, meat, (red n white) breads & pasta. Vegs and fruit.
Excersing at least 30 mins a day cos that is when the fat starts to burn, but make sure its cardio kind, even running up and down the stairs in the home is gud way of burning fat,
The key is to eat everything but small amounts and plenty of water(at least 3ltrs) and regular excersice

Bread, pasta and rice are complex carbohydrates and are actually very good for you, who told you they would make you fat!!! You do need a varied diet to keep fit and healthy, fruit and vegetables should always be a part of every meal, and lean white meat and fish are also good for you.

Idiosyncratic diets are pointless (concerning weight loss). It's this simple, really: EAT LESS CALORIES than YOU EXPEND.

I'm not yelling, only emphasizing the point. This is truer than true. What you eat is somewhat important (its not healthy to not have a wide variety of foods, and eating seldom can slow your metabolism).

You could eat 3 bowls of icecream a day and lose weight. The problem in America (probably other places too) is that people want an easy way out... and not eating isn't always easy -- especially when good results are slow.

There is something to be admired about restraint.. practice it, and you will lose weight.

NO FOOD MAKES YOU FAT! Overeating makes you fat. Eating moderately and having a balanced diet will keep you fit. You can eat everything just not "pig out" all the time.

Those things dont make you fat!!!!
Too much of them can make you fat.
You dont restrict them out of your diet, rather you control how much you eat, and the majority of them eat WHOLE GRAIN. Whole grain bread and pasta are great!

Bread, pasta and rice don't make you fat. It's what you eat it with like fat meat and sauces.
