I believe that anything you say that's sincere is flattering, some women (myself included) don't take it well, because either we don't feel attractive or feel we look it, think you're full of it, or think you're hitting on us. Unfortunately for you men, you can never win.

If you feel you are saying these things sincerely, then stay that way, one day you'll find a woman who's responsive to the flattery, also try flattering them on non-physical characteristics if you know these women.

"You have really pretty eyes", "You have a nice smile" - noticing the little things is really good, as long as it is said in a natural evasive way.
"You're the sweetest person I know" - it may sound cliche but one guy said that to me and I could not suppress a blush.

Teasing is great, not like cruel jokes but in an affectionate way. It shows a playfulness and shows you care, I've always been attracted to that, it works for me everytime.

I would say that more than anything that a person's behavior and the way they treat someone is the most attractive. It is subtle but gets the point across. ;)

I'm sorry, but no 'flattery' is going to make me feel good and be more attracted to any man. Try being a 'good friend' first and foremost ... that is what my husband was to me and I was to him and we were both 'very surprised' to find out that had 'turned to love' and we've now been married for 10 years and are just as 'in love' as we were the day we got married.

Comments on natrual beauty assets are better. eyes, smile, beauty marks, freckles. Or nice comments on a girls personality. But hair and clothes are nice too, just may not quite grab her attention the same way.

I wouldn't be attracted to him unless I liked him. The comments might help me have more feelings for the person but it would not be the sole reason I dated them.

"You are a very beautiful woman."
"You are the most beautiful woman in the room/at this party."
"You are very vivacious" or "elegant"

Hair or clothes is not strong enough, not really seductive. Compliment HER.
