That if the church will even let you come on a regular basis... many kick out the poor and homeless.

Plus dont think church is going to solve your problems. God isnt going to change the laws of the universe. You goto do this one on your own, by your self. As scary as it seems.

The true meaning of faith is not to expect unconditional favours from the One True God, it is to start a spiritual journey showed by His Divine Messenger. A man can only attain the goal of this journey when He satisfies the conditions set by the Divine Educator. The conditions are as follows:
"When a true seeker determineth to take the step of search in the path leading unto the knowledge of the Ancient of Days, he must, before all else, cleanse his heart, which is the seat of the revelation of the inner mysteries of God, from the obscuring dust of all acquired knowledge, and the allusions of the embodiments of satanic fancy. He must purge his breast, which is the sanctuary of the abiding love of the Beloved, of every defilement, and sanctify his soul from all that pertaineth to water and clay, from all shadowy and ephemeral attachments. He must so cleanse his heart that no remnant of either love or hate may linger therein, lest that love blindly incline him to error, or that hate repel him away from the truth. Even as thou dost witness in this Day how most of the people, because of such love and hate, are bereft of the immortal Face, have strayed far from the Embodiments of the Divine mysteries, and, shepherdless, are roaming through the wilderness of oblivion and error.

That seeker must, at all times, put his trust in God, must renounce the peoples of the earth, must detach himself from the world of dust, and cleave unto Him Who is the Lord of Lords. He must never  265  seek to exalt himself above any one, must wash away from the tablet of his heart every trace of pride and vain-glory, must cling unto patience and resignation, observe silence and refrain from idle talk. For the tongue is a smoldering fire, and excess of speech a deadly poison. Material fire consumeth the body, whereas the fire of the tongue devoureth both heart and soul. The force of the former lasteth but for a time, whilst the effects of the latter endureth a century."

Yes, I would. Regardless of having financial difficulties. I would think God could at least be there and possible help you somehow. I can't really say what God would do. But, he can at least hear you and hope that he would hear your prayers. I will pray for you and hope he will help your rough patch.

Going to church is not going to solve your problems- of course we who believe SHOULD be going to church to be spiritually fed, but if you do not believe and think that church is going to "fix" your problems, you are greatly deceived. God looks at the inward heart of man--and knows exactly where you stand with Him.
You must come to Him and humble yourself before Him and seek Him--not just going to church, but everyday in prayer and time with Him reading His word. Many only go to God when things go wrong in their lives.....this saddens me- Until you completely give up your sin and believe in Him and follow Him, you will not know His peace. And of course God takes care of those who love Him. But He also knows who are "His sheep"
and who love Him. We should praise Him when He delivers us from circumstances and praise Him when we fall down into a pit, and keep our HOPE in Him. Because God is faithful to those who love and honor Him. To those who truly seek Him- as Lamentations 3:25 says "The Lord is good to those who love Him, to the soul who seeks Him"

Why not? Since when does that have anything to do with going to church? I'd go to church regardless of life circumstances, (in fact, I do).

I dont know, would they give me money? if not, No. If so, then sure, I'd take their money rather than live on the street. Anyone can pretend to believe that crap.
