So, I have a limited budget, but I decided I want to make my gf a card. With each turn of a page, there will be a different phrase to go along with a corresponding picture or item pasted to the card. Ladies, what do you think? Here is a sample.
You want the moon
(Moon picture) I’ll give you the moon
You want the stars
(Star Picture) I’ll give you the stars
Maybe it’s the simple sweets you desire
(Godiva Chocolate taped to the card)
Perhaps a little reminder of home will light your fire
(Some type of Hawaiian memorabilia, not sure yet)
Trust me, I ain’t going to lie
Like it or not, you’re going to get the “stink eye” (picture of me with a silly face)
In all seriousness whether you’re near me, or we’re far apart
You are always carrying a little piece of my heart (cut out picture of a heart with my name on it)

PS "Stink Eye" is a Pidgin term. It relates to her Hawaiian upbringing. I should have specified that.

Oh my goodness, if a man went to so much effort to MAKE me a card like that I think I would cry.
Maybe put "I would like to" give you the moon, etc, bec you can't really.
It is really sweet. Yes I like it, she will love it.
(And I agree with Carlover2 about the last page.)

Overall, a nice idea! Please lessen the Hawaiian line, like:
A reminder of home to light your fire.
Also, the stink thing does NOT work, no matter what it means.
Neurologically, you're putting a thought in there that will likely backfire.

For the last page, you should put in a pic of yourself with a heart taped to it that has her name written on it. That just makes more sense to me. Otherwise, I think it is very romantic and your gf should enjoy it very much!
Throw in a rose or two if you can swing it! :)
