Do you like to travel to other countries that don't speak your language?

I love it!! Makes the experience way much interesting :) Open my view of the world, cultures and life. I've done three times and are the best memories of my life. You should try it if the opportunity comes

yes, I just think it makes the experience that much cooler and different when you are surrounded by people speaking a different language.

That said, I think it would be a little scary to be in a country if you don't speak the language. if there were people who spoke english I would be relieved, but at the same time I would feel embarassed by expecting them to communicate in my language when I don't know theirs.

I have only been in two non-english speaking countries, the Netherlands, but I was only there half a day, and Germany for almost a year, but luckily I speak German well enough.

Absolutely love the idea of travelling to non-English speaking countries and learning about the country, the people, the culture, the traditions, the foods and more!

I have - obviously, it is easier to travel to a country where they do speak the same language as you do, but when you can't...it's still better to get the experience and memories.

Prepare yourself well - bring along maps and information and try to get at least a few basic sentences down so you can at least get to some assistance.

NO , i think it is very scary not to be able to talk to the people and get directions or to read the street signs
