Try IDMAX from Image Dynamics 1st, they are great subs and have high sensitivity, they sound great and get loud in a hurry. If you got lotsa power and just wanna spend more, go JL Audio.

Check out JL audio. The one that I'm using is a few years old (5) but still rocks. A couple of other things to remember....
1. The larger the diameter, the sloppier the sound, and....
2. The smaller the diameter, the tighter the sound.
3. The higher the wattage the amp has, the better the sub will sound.
4. Dedicate one amp to the sub, high quality, no swag! I like Rockford Fosgate.
5. Use a capacitor
6. The kind of box that is built around the sub is SUPER important
a. Use MDF (medium density fibre board)
b. The is an exact calculation of how big the box should be
in relation to the characteristics of the speaker (the Q)
c. Use lots of glue as well as screws when the box is being
built.
7. Where the box is placed in the car is crucial, as well as what direction the box faces.
8. Bolt/scew the box firmly in place.
9. A high quality head unit is the starting point for a good system, must have high voltage outputs.....5 to 8 amps ($600-800 min)

And you thought it was easy, didn't you? My advice is to work with a professional shop. Work with someone you trust. It's going to be a long term relationship! Ask to see and hear their work before you lay down the bucks. Here is a secret.....When you have the system installed, demand (very nicely) that JUST ONE PERSON WORK ON YOUR CAR. The reason for this is that if just one guy works on it he will be intimately familiar with the system, and never have to search for a bad ground or whatever. Never let another person touch it, only him! It's a technique borrowed from Rolls Royc autos. Buy a Rolls new, and you have the same mechanic for the life of the car. Leave them alone when they are working on your car. Buy the installer lunch. and lastly..........tip him!! when you bring it back with a problem (there are always problems...blown speakers ect) he will be anxious to put down what he's doing and fix it for you. If he's not working that day or too busy. make an appointment and bring it back. Never let another installer touch it. By doing this, the installer also realizes that he and nobody else is responsible for any possible mistakes and cannot blame it on another person.

Good Luck.

Take a look at www.REAUDIO.com, they have top quality subs. I would suggest a pair of SX's 12's for 15's will do fine and will be in your price range.
