Brain Tumor???

Question

I just found out today that I have a brain tumor, is there anything that needs to be cut out of the diet or changes in behavior that need to be addressed?????

I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. People can say " they understand what you are going through" but they have no clue. I an attest to that because in 2004 I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme in the right frontal lobe. This is a Grade 4 tumor and the survival rate is low and initially they gave me 6 months. However, today is my 3 year anniversary and I know that I am going to live to be 70 (36 now). Apart from surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, the best way to deal with this is faith and hope. Cancer is not match for human faith, hope and willingness to live. I don't know if this made any difference in my survival but I take wheat grass tablets twice a day. I don't know how you lift your spirits and faith. For me reading Lance Armstrong's book " Its just not about the bike" gave me a shot of will. Hope that helps and good luck. Fight on!

No you will probably need surgery if this is an option for you. Or radiation may shrink it and then surgery. My brother in law has one. They did surgery and could not get it all out because it was enter twined in his motor function area of his brain. Luckily it is not growing. They thought he would be dead in a couple of years but he has had it for 16 years now and is doing pretty good. Considering he has partial paralysis from the surgery. Find a good doctor and get a couple different opinions as to how to proceed. Good luck.

Just eat a healthy diet - your doctor can tell you i you should avoid anything. I'd cut out the fried foods.

IF I WAS U, I WOULD OF GONE CRAZY AND ASKED TO TAKE IT OUT IMMEDIATELY!!! I DONT WANNA HAVE ANY TUMORS ESPECIALLY IN MY HEAD!! DAMN JUST GET THAT THING REMOVED A.S.A.P!!!!!
