my best freind asked out this really hot guy who is really really sweet. he said no but then when she asked him again later he said ill think about it and he thought for a really long time and he is still thinking. i think he doesnt have the guts to say no because he is so sweet. he flirts with me all the time and he gives me that "i really like you" look and i really want to ask him out but im afraid of what my freind will say. she is madley in love with him and she talks about him all the time. should i ask him out and if i tell my freind i am going to ask him out how do i cool her jets? i need help!!!1

I'd at least wait and see what he says when he's done thinking. I agree with you thought he probably doesn't want to hurt her.
I'd tell your friend that you think you and this guy have chemistry. You like him...you think he likes you. Ask her how she'd feel if you asked him out. If she says she'd be rally mad or upset. Don't ask the guy out. Tell her you wont ask him out if she doesnt want you to. If she says it'd be ok...Go for it. If she straight up gets mad with you asking about it and stops tlaking to you...Don't ask him out...try and repair your friendship.
I don't know how old you are...but I'm guessing you're young. Guys aren't important in your life right now. And the relationship would probably only last a few months or so...Friends are supposed to be forever...Don't ruin a good friendship for nothing

I would say NO ...but it depends on you and your girlfriends realtionship. Talk to her about it. Don't be a punk say hey girl he fine and keep giving me fu*k faces what's up with yall. Take it from there if she says nothing go ahead ...wait a few then make you move if thats what you really want. If you think she is just saying it to say it ..then leave his *** alone. No you should if you are a true friend you wouldnt because your best friend likes him alot. Then he is trying to get with you on the slick eventhough he doesnt like your friend at all. That should tell you right there that he is a jerk and if he cant tell your friend no I dont want to go out then he's a whimp to.

Noo! Do you want to loose your best friend over a boy? Friends come first, not boys. If I was the friend, then I would be REALLY mad at my friend. Don't do that to her! That isn't very fair is it? If she is madly in love with this guy, then don't EVER do that to a friend. If I were you then I would not ask him out--no matter how badly I wanted to. Especially if she is my best friend. wow i dont know how many times me and my friends have delt with this. but I ALWAYS put friends before guys..unless its one special guy that im totally in love with. because friend will be there forever but guys wont. its just a matter of thinking it out. I think you should ask your friend what she would think if you went out with him. if shes mad then dont do it unless you really like the guy. your friend sounds in love though. i wouldnt want to hurt her or make her jealous. so in the end its up to you but id stick with the friend if i was in your spot. hope things work out! :)

You CAN'T betray your friend! You know how she feels about him so don't act on anything. She will eventualy get over this guy and find another boy to fall head over heals for. When this happens then MAYBE you can talk to her about it and she won't care if you go for this guy.

i have had the same prob. except i was the one who liked the guy and so did my friend. I was about to ask him out. My friend asked him out before i got to him and he said yes to her. I was so mad at her. So here is the question. Do you want the guy and not your friend or your friend and not the guy.
